Hey, now!

I’m Faith Arielle,

SOL Brunch Founder

Culinary Activist, studying Ethnobotanist, Holistic Health Educator & Creative.

- Daughter of the Earth

My intrigue with cooking and plant medicine began at a young age with inspiration from the elders in my family; but the real work didn't begin until 2008 when I co organized a standing Farmers & Artisan Market in Southwest Atlanta, where I grew up.  I fell in love with learning about our agricultural ecosystem and in turn educating the community on the importance of purchasing locally and seasonally.  Direct community engagement allowed the opportunity to learn different perspectives in relation to food/health and how lack of access and knowledge influence our choices.  I became a strong advocate for holistic health, especially in my own community where food deserts are most prevalent and wellness resources aren't always readily available. My work consists of extensive, natural health research and spreading resistance awareness in oppressive systems.

our story-

SOL Brunch is a homage to brunch culture and sacred time spent in community.  As a devoted Yoga Instructor, I have explored new methods of fusing wellness mediums with everyday life. I knew that I wanted to continue expanding my offerings off of the mat, so I pursued Holistic Nutrition. Upon completion, I didn't want to settle into creating meal plans & prep.  I didn't want to fill inboxes with a bunch of unopened health food articles, either!  After some thought and intentionality, SOL Brunch was born!

I enjoy pushing the envelope and removing the reprimanding and often restrictive tone out of health education. I believe health resources should be relatable, culturally relevant and easily accessible.  We’ve achieved this through our various workshops, catering events and special experiences.

My last few years of research led me to the lush jungles of various countries throughout Central America to observe indigenous culture and food systems while also deepening my relationship with herbal medicine and nature’s intelligence. Traveling to Rio Piedra, Panama to study under the instruction of Dr. Aris Latham granted me the opportunity to diversify and simplify my culinary skills as a certified Sunfired® Chef learning more health and food sustainability practices. As a result, we’ve expanded our reach and look forward to launching our Apothecary and learning platform soon.

the intention

The mission is simple, we stick to our core pillars of health education, culture, and connection.  We work with the best cooks and wellness practitioners who not only bring their skill to the table, but also their stories. We will continue to be an environmental and social conscious company striving to exercise the most sustainable and zero waste practices to ensure environmental and human rights protection.  We believe our Creator has provided our Mother (Earth) with everything we need, so our menus and products are minimally processed, clean and always ethically sourced. We envision a harmonious world filled with reverence, awareness and compassion for all!
